Vanishing Point

Vanishing Point is a multi-national 3D production company, specializing in building, texturing and rigging models, animation, video and film production, corporate design and graphics.

As well as being one of the leading content providers for Poser, Vue, and Bryce, Vanishing Point also provides a custom modelling service, and can produce short animations to client specifications.

All of our models are built with the highest attention to detail and are optimized for use in Poser. In fact, our models are specifically designed to be used in all current versions of Poser, from version 4 and above.

In June 2007, Vanishing Point signed an exclusive agreement to convert De Espona Infografica's vast library of 3D Studio Max models into Poser, Vue d'Esprit, Cinema4D, and Lightwave formats. Vanishing Point will also be upgrading and rigging the existing 3D Studio Max products for use in 3D Studio Max 7.0 and above.

Ranging from aircraft to boats to cars to furniture and electronics, the De Espona Infografica library contains over 1,250 individual models.

These models had previously been only available as one collection from the De Espona Infografica site (and for sale only on a CD), but with the help of Vanishing Point, the models will be available as individual products.

To see the entire collection available from Vanishing Point on Content Paradise, simply search for the vendor named DeEspona Infografica.

Many of our products are available in multiple formats. We have designed these models to be optimized for the specific software program, so not all formats will work with all software programs:
Poser: most of our models will work in all versions of Poser, but we recommend using Poser 5 or above. Although some software programs, such as DAZ|Studio, Cinema4D, Vue, and Carrara can import Poser objects, the quality of the imported model depends entirely on the import process. Because of various factors in the import process, we are unable to provide support for our Poser products in programs other than Poser.
Vue d'Esprit: our models are designed to work in Vue version 6 or above. Please note that Vue products will not work in any other software program other than Vue.
3D Studio Max: most of our models will work in Studio Max version 7, though some models are meant for version 8 and above. Please note that Studio Max products will not work in any other software program other than Studio Max.
Lightwave: our models are designed for use in Lightwave version 7 and above. Please note that Lightwave products will not work in any other software program other than Lightwave.
Wavefront OBJ: models in obj format are not specific to any one software program: most programs can import these files, usually fully textured.

Our design philosophy is: If it moves in the real world, it moves on the model. This has led to some of the most advanced vehicle models available for Poser, with innovations like blade flex on helicopters, geometry switching blade blurs, working tank tracks, functioning shock absorbers, and even a Tea Cup ride with accurately spinning tea cups. Our models come with so many moving parts (and so many unique features) that you'll quickly agree we're "Innovating the 3D World".
