+++ Hair Conversion System +++ For e frontier's Miki 2.0 (c) 2007 Netherworks Studios All of this product's content was created by Joseph Dennison (aka Netherworks) The Hair Conversion System is a Complete and Professional package for Converting Prop (hr2) and Figure (cr2) Hair from Several Popular Community Figures to e frontier's Miki 2.0. This System covers converting Aiko 3, Victoria 1 & 2, Victoria 3 and Victoria 4 Hair. It includes a fully illustrated color PDF guide, which breaks each step down with the intention of being very easy and friendly to use. New with the release of this product, our third in the series, are guidelines for using this System inside of DAZ Studio. Prop Hair can be converted fully inside of Poser 5, 6 7 and DAZ Studio and utilizes Magnet Sets and One-Click Python Scripts (Poser only). Figure Hair is a bit more involved and requires a very minute amount of cr2 editing plus the usage of either Morph Manager (PC users) or Maconstructor (Mac users) to copy morphs. However, don't let any of that put you off - with the guide I'm there with you every single step of the way and you won't believe just how painless it is. Furthermore, we've included several extra Python Scripts - Poser Only - (including Thumber for creating nice rendered thumbnails of your converted hair) and optional Replacement Magnets with zones and crosshairs. As an added bonus, this system can be used to also convert smart-propped and conforming Headwear to Miki 2.0, such as glasses, earrings and hats! What are you waiting for? Make use of the VAST years worth of commercial and free hair for your new Miki 2.0 figure! Featuring: * System for Converting Prop (hr2) and Figure (cr2) hair from Aiko 3, Victoria 1 & 2, Victoria 3, and Victoria 4 to Miki 2.0, including Magnet Sets, Python Scripting and Customized Miki 2.0 Hair Cr2 (for conforming hair conversions). * Complete and EZ, Illustrated PDF Guide for using all of the components found in this package which covers: Converting Prop Hair, Converting Figure Hair, Steps for using Morph Manager/Maconstructor, Using the Python Scripts and Setting up a Quick Menu, PLUS Tips for Converting Head Smart-Props and Conforming Headwear such as glasses and hats. Notes, highlighted in blue, are provided for helping DAZ Studio users along with the process. * Optional Neo-Magnet replacement for more visually precise Magnets in Poser. * Bonus Python Scripts: Remove Magnets (from the scene), Zero Figure and IK, Zero Morphs and ERC. (Poser Only) * Thumber Python Script included for making nice, rendered thumbnails of your conversions. (Poser Only) - Suitable for Mac and PC users - Poser 5, 6 and 7. DAZ Studio Compatible! *** This package is set to work with prop hair and figure hair with standard body parts (head, neck, chest, etc). It will not convert hair with extraneous body parts, such as ponytail segments, bows and body handles (built as additional body parts). --- --- File Manifest --- Unzipped to your main Poser folder, everything should go to the right places. If you are installing to an external (additional) Runtime other than the core Poser runtime, make sure that EVERYTHING under and including Python goes into your Poser core Runtime. It is highly recommended to install this package when Poser is not running. The Scripts menu does NOT refresh during the current Poser session. It is an easy, friendly read with a lotta pictures :) Again, concerning Figure Hair, this system will not work on hair with non-standard body parts (bodyhandles, bow and ribbon "limbs", mutiple ponytail segments and so on). I have successfully converted nearly all of the Kozaburo hair, much of Quarker, 3Dream and many of the DAZ hairs. If you have any questions, comments or inquiries, please visit our forums. If I have the hair, I can tell you whether it will convert. But loading the hair prior to using the kit at all you can often look and see if the hair has one or more non-conventional limbs attached to it ;) *** Restrictions Commercial and Non-commercial renders and animations are fine.
