MTR SciFi Laser

This set consists of one prop with several variations.
The laser has been varied to both left and right - each with several textures.
If you select the left laser, it will appear just below the left hand of the G2 male - ready for you
to select the parent of the hand.  Then when you pose the character, the laser will follow.

Depending on the poses you use, the hands and laser may require some tweaking.
In the thumbnail renders, we used the stock action poses for the G2 males.  After applying the pose,
we had to adjust the hand grasp and repoint the laser just a bit.

The package contains 7 props and 3 material files and 4 texture maps.  
Using the varied props pretty much eliminates the need for the material files, but we included them in case you
wish to change the texture of a laser you worked hard to position.


Open the zip file and locate the props folder, materials folder and the textures folder.  
Locate your Poser program and open the Runtime Folder.  Within the runtime, open the Textures folder. Copy the 
MTR SciFi Laser (texture) folder
and place it within the Poser Textures folder.

Second, locate the Libraries folder within the Runtime.  Within the Libraries, open the Materials folder.  
Now, copy the MTR SF Laser Mats folder and place it within the Poser Materials folder.

Lastly, locate the props folder within the Libraries of the Runtime. Copy the MTR SciFi Laser (props) folder
and place it within the Poser props folder.

Now, close all folders and launch the Poser program.  Open the MTR SciFi Laser. 
You will see four variations for the Left Laser and 3 Variations for the Right Laser.
As mentioned before, it will locate just below the respective hand of the G2 male in the 
Absolute Zero Position.  Select the body part you wish to make the parent, and then pose your figure.

Another variation you may wish to use is to scale the laser upward, place it to completely cover the hand, and then
select the parent.
Also, you may wish to scale the laser even larger, and place it under the arm of the figure like a cannon
or a bazooka.

 

Installation of MTR Maps for Poser: 
• Place the material files -> Runtime/ libraries / materials/ MTR SF Laser Mats
• Place the "textures” files -> Runtime/ textures / MTR SciFi Laser
• Place the props files -> Runtime / libraries / props / MTR SciFi Laser
