Although it is fairly simple to create clothing for DAZ 3D Victoria 4 using this product, it is presumed that the purchaser does know something about conforming clothing. The included figures and OBJ files are not intended to be used as-is. They are a starting point for developing your own clothing figures. All cr2 files will require joint parameter adjustments, the current joints are at the default of the base character. o Please Note: + The two Wavefront OBJ files (found in the "Geometries:OKCClothes:V4:DevPack" folder) and CR2 templates in this package may be used to create your own saleable/free add-on content for DAZ 3D Victoria 4 figure. However, you must alter the OBJ files and CR2 files and make them your own before you can resell or distribute them. + The two Wavefront OBJ files (found in the "Geometries:OKCClothes:Victoria4:V4DevPack" folder) are based on the DAZ 3D Victoria 4 figure and come in two mesh resolutions. These two OBJ files and the rigging CR2 files included in this product are redistributeable as part of a add-on product for the DAZ 3D Victoria 4 figure. This means you can take one of the redistributable OBJ flies into your choice of modeller and use them as a base for your DAZ 3D Victoria 4 clothing. The Grouped OBJ files are already grouped correctly, so if you maintain this grouping, creating a conforming item for DAZ 3D Victoria 4 will be pretty easy. o To cater for most clothing types, pre-rigged CR2 files are supplied as follows: + V4Dev (WithFingers) # This CR2 contains the joint information for the entire figure and includes fingers + V4Dev (No Fingers) # This CR2 contains all joint information EXCLUDING the fingers + V4Dev (LongShirt) # This CR2 contains all upper body joints and the full arms, excluding the hands + V4Dev (ShortShirt) # This CR2 contains all upper body joints excluding the forearms and hands + V4Dev (LongPants) # This CR2 contains all lower body joints excluding the toes + V4Dev (ShortPants) # This CR2 contains the hips and legs. It excludes the feet and toes + V4Dev (SockShoes) # This CR2 contains only the shins, feet and toes and is perfect for shoes/boots/etc. + V4Dev (LongDress) # This CR2 contains all upper body joints, hip, body handles and the full arms, excluding the fingers o .:USING THE CR2 TEMPLATES:. + Once you have created your OBJ file (with grouping intact), simply save it in the Poser runtime Geometries:YourFolder. + Make a copy of the correct CR2 file (depending on the clothing type). + Open the copy and replace the OBJ references with your own OBJ file name and path. + If all goes well, your new CR2 should conform to DAZ 3D Victoria 4 with some joint adjustments. o Remember, you must alter the OBJ files and CR2 files and make them your own before you can resell or distribute them. Note: The medium res files V4MR_FormGrouped.obj and V4MR_Form.obj contain head and neck geometry not welded to bodysuit. A useful tool for editing the cr2 files is CR2 Editor 1.51 by John Stallings available at: http://www.morphography.uk.vu/dlutility.html For short skirts you may want to delete the Shin body handles from the cr2.
