Captivating. Entrancing. From the mists of the German Black Forest comes the new mysterious Oktober character for G2 Sydney by Andolaurina. Human or vampire? That's all up to you. Oktober features a custom hand-sculputed face morph and hand-sculpted retractable fangs. She's loaded with options, including a cobweb tattoo, natural skin or 10 eye makeup options, 10 lipstick colors, 12 eye colors, 6 nailpolish colors, 4 tongue colors and optional fangs. Textures include diffuse, specular and bump MAPs as well as advanced Poser shader options. This package has advanced material settings which will not display in DAZ Studio or Carrara and shaders will need to be created and the textures may have to be applied manually by the Buyer in DAZ Studio or Carrara. The morph should work in DAZ Studio and Carrara but has not been tested in either application. (example: C:\program files\smithmicro\Poser8\ ). - The check box "Use Folder names" must be marked so that all files will placed in the correct path. ADDITIONAL TIPS FOR HOW TO USE THESE FILES: Once you have installed the zip file into your Runtime (see "Detailed Installation Instructions" above), - All of the files you will be using regularly are found in the "Pose" and "Material" directories. - To apply/inject the morph for the character, go to the Pose Room and choose the Pose directory. Choose the "INJ" file for the character to inject the morph. This will inject the morph into the TongueRoll morph. (Note: You will not be able to use the TongueRoll morph while using this character; when you click the "REM" file to remove the morph, the TongueRoll morph will be restored. Injecting and removing the character DOES NOT affect your permanent copy of your figure.) - Next, apply the full body material by going to the Material Room and choosing the Material directory and click the "full MAT" option. This will apply both the textures and the appropriate shaders. - While in the Material room, navigate the appropriate folders to apply your choice of eye colors, eye makeup, lipstick and nail color options. - Once you've added your selections, if you'd rather not have a shader applied (the shader is what gives the texture reflectivity and shine), click the "No Shader" option from the Material directory. This will preserve your selections but remove the shader (and set the diffuse color to white). If you change your mind and want to re-add the shaders, you'll need to apply the full MAT again and then select your makeup. NOTE: It may take a moment for Poser to recalculate this (and you may even need to click on the materials for the change to display without shaders. (That's a Poser quirk.) - To remove the morph for the character, go to the Pose Room and choose the Pose directory. Choose the "REM" file for the character to remove the morph. This will re-inject the TongueRoll morph and return Sydney to the default Sydney appearance. - To remove the textures and thereby reset Sydney's textures, go to the Material Room and, from the Material directory, choose the Remove Oktober Textures option and it will restore the default Sydney textures. -------------------------------------------------- 8) Usage Tips/Limitations -------------------------------------------------- PLEASE READ THE LICENSE FILE (END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT - EULA) FOR IMPORTANT DETAILS ABOUT THE LICENSE FOR THIS PRODUCT AND TERMS OF USE. These files have been created to be suitable even for students and educational settings. Therefore, no nipple or genital details have been included. She's as anatomically correct as most little girls' dolls in the United States. No hair, clothing, accessories or figures are included in this package. Hair models used: Sookie Hair, Erato Hair, and Divine Hair (all are sold at Renderosity). RENDER TIPS: - I would suggest using the Poser Firefly engine for renders (all promotional renders show Poser Pro and Poser 8 Firefly renders). If you choose to use this character in an earlier version of Poser with the Poser 4 render engine, you may have better results if you turn the displacement maps setting off. - In Render Settings, make sure you turn raytracing and displacement maps on. I'd suggest choosing "smooth polygons" as well (unless you use Indirect Light, which can conflict with each other). - If you use the Automatic Settings, you'll need to set it at "Final" or close to Final in order to see the reflections and transluence of the materials properly. - If you use the Manual Settings tab for Firefly in the Render settings, set the Raytrace Bounces to at least 4. LIGHTING TIPS: All the lights in the promotional renders are very basic lights. No indirect light, IBL, Ambient Occlusion, special gels or HDRI was used. A mix of lights were used to give you a feel for different lighting. Some were white lights and other lights had a blue or peach hue.
