Poser Pro Base:
Poser Pro Base is a reduced feature version of Poser Pro, offered exclusively to qualified* Poser 6 and Poser 7 users as a sidegrade. If you’d like to have Network Rendering across three machines, the Queue Manager, 64-Bit Rendering, Background Rendering, enhanced image control and normal mapping support, but do not need the PoserFusion plug-ins or full COLLADA support, then Poser Pro Base may be just what you’re looking for!
When you buy a copy of Poser Pro Base or Poser Pro, you’ll effectively be buying a new product. Your current Poser 6 or Poser 7 license will remain active, plus you’ll have a new cross platform license to Poser Pro Base. That means your original Poser 6 or 7 license will still qualify for future Poser upgrades down the road, and your Poser Pro Base license also qualifies for future Poser Pro upgrades. There’s even an upgrade path from Poser Pro Base to Poser Pro if you decide that you need the full version’s features!
